Setting Yourself Up for a Great Group Class

Nerves and doubt are normal before your first session. Quick prep can help you get more from your time here.

  1. Eat light before class and drink water. Wear clothes you move easy in and keep an open mind about routines.
  2. Arrive five to ten minutes early, chat with the instructor, and ask about anything that makes you unsure. Communication helps the class feel smoother.
  3. Remember: the group is there for support, not judgment. If you slip during a session or need extra breaks, just flag it with your coach.
  4. Jot down any questions or worries before the first class and bring them up early. Coaches appreciate people who want to learn and stay safe.
